Sports and Recreation Committee

This Committee is responsible for all the recreation grounds, public open space, allotments and amenity land owned by the Parish Council. This includes providing and maintaining playgrounds and sports pitches. The Councillors on this Committee also consider all possible uses of the Open Space funding held on our behalf by Winchester City Council.

Priory Park, Elizabeth Way, is the largest of our sport & recreation areas, with playing fields, a large children's play-area and a bowling green.

Surrounded by open views the park is a fine place for a stroll or a picnic.

Facilities available for hire
Priory Park – 3 full size football pitches and changing rooms
Hoe Road – Junior pitches and changing rooms
Hoe Road – Tennis courts
