Tourism, Community and Environment Committee

This Committee is responsible for all matters relating to the promotion of Bishop’s Waltham, its businesses and facilities. The Committee works closely with the Bishop’s Waltham Chamber of Trade to promote the town throughout the county and beyond.

ParkThe Councillors on this Committee consider the purchase and installation of street furniture for the town, bus shelters, seats, noticeboards etc. The Parish Rights of Way Officer is an ex-offico member of this Committee and monitors the local footpaths for the Parish and County Council. This Committee also organises the Parish Council Volunteer Awards and the very popular Community Day.
