A town of charm and appeal to residents and visitors alike. Bishop's Waltham Palace is an English Heritage site and St Peter's Church is of Norman origin.

The Parish Council works through it's committees to improve and manage a number of specific services on behalf of the community. We also provide information about:
News Matters
Entertainment will be provided throughout the day and will include bands, singers, children’s entertainers and more….
Food and drink can be purchased from the stalls of local traders who will be joining us to mark this special occasion, or you can bring your own ‘picnic’.
Entry to the event will be by purchasing a souvenir badge for £5.00 per adult, accompanied children under 16 free.
We need volunteers to help us in various capacities before, during and after the event.

The continental markets will continue to visit the town throughout the year giving everyone the chance to purchase something a little different from the normal weekly shop!
The Chamber has also planned some community days that will see the High Street closed on one Saturday a month. Various events including classic cars and local traders’ markets are in the planning stages – watch out for full details in due course.

Jubilee Street party – 3rd June 2012
Bishop’s Waltham Parish Council will be holding an event to mark the Queen’s Jubilee in June 2012. A Street Party will be held in the High Street on Sunday 3rd June from midday until 6.00pm.Entertainment will be provided throughout the day and will include bands, singers, children’s entertainers and more….

Chamber of Trade Markets and Events 2012

The Councillors’ surgery is held on the 3rd Saturday in the month from 10.00am until noon in the town centre.Look out for the minibus and the Parish Council banner and come and talk to your Councillors.
